Bin Reddy – Terms of Service

Effective Date: 7 November 2025
Last Updated: 7 November 2025

Welcome to Bin Reddy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By subscribing to or using our curb-valet service (“Service”), you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Overview of Service

Bin Reddy provides recurring and temporary bin-valet services that involve transporting your trash and/or recycling bins to and from the designated municipal collection point on scheduled pickup days.
We are not a waste-collection or disposal company; our role is limited to moving your bins between their storage area and the curb.

2. Service Area and Access Requirements

  • Bins must be placed outside of all fences, gates, garages, or locked enclosures.

  • Our staff will never enter fenced or gated areas or private property beyond what is visible and publicly accessible.

  • If bins are inaccessible (behind a gate, blocked by vehicles, locked, obstructed by pets, etc.), service will be recorded as inaccessible, and no refund or credit will be issued.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring bins are visible and accessible before the scheduled pickup day.

3. Safety and Property Access

Our team members maintain respectful distance from customer property. They will not enter private areas, open gates, or interact with pets or residents unless necessary for safety.
Bin Reddy may suspend or cancel service if site conditions present safety or liability concerns.

4. Customer Responsibilities

By enrolling, you agree to:

  • Keep bins in usable condition (functional lids, handles, and wheels).

  • Provide accurate, updated pickup schedules if your municipality changes collection days.

  • Keep access paths free of obstructions (vehicles, debris, animals, etc.).

  • Secure pets on service days.

  • Communicate changes only through approved channels.

5. Service Schedule, Cancellations, and Adjustments

a. Customer Notification Responsibilities

If your municipal pickup schedule changes due to holidays, weather, or route adjustments, you must notify Bin Reddy at least 48 hours in advance of the change.
Send notice through our Contact Us form or email support@binreddy.com.
Verbal messages, texts, or social-media messages are not valid notice.

If we arrive on your regular day and find that municipal pickup did not occur or bins are unavailable, that visit will be considered completed, and no refund or credit will be issued.

b. Cancellations and Service Modifications

Submit written requests via our Contact Us form or email support@binreddy.com at least 7 days before your next billing cycle begins.
Requests received after that period take effect in the following cycle.
All payments are non-refundable once the service period has begun.

c. Lapse in Service (Unexpected Interruptions)

While we strive for reliability, rare interruptions may occur due to:

  • Unexpected illness or last-minute callouts,

  • Severe weather, unsafe roads, or municipal closures, or

  • Equipment failure or other unforeseen circumstances.

If a lapse occurs, Bin Reddy will:

  • Notify affected customers promptly via support@binreddy.com,

  • Evaluate all reasonable recovery options, and

  • Apply a credit to your next billing cycle if service cannot be completed that week.

Because municipal collection typically occurs only once per week, missed days cannot always be rescheduled. We treat any lapse as a priority issue.
Bin Reddy is not liable for secondary issues (full bins, overflow, odors, or HOA citations) resulting from factors outside our control, but we will minimize disruptions whenever possible.

6. Billing and Payments

  • Services are billed monthly (or quarterly if selected).

  • By subscribing, you authorize automatic recurring payments.

  • If payment fails, service may pause until balance is resolved.

  • Prices and terms may change with notice.

7. Holidays and Schedule Changes

Bin Reddy follows the schedule provided by each customer at signup.
Because municipal pickup schedules differ by neighborhood and may change due to holidays, weather, or route adjustments, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify us of any change affecting their normal pickup day.

All schedule-change notifications must be submitted through our Contact Us form or emailed to support@binreddy.com at least 48 hours in advance of the adjusted collection date.

If no notice is received, Bin Reddy will continue to service your property according to your regular schedule.
If municipal collection is delayed or canceled and we complete service as scheduled, that visit will still be considered fulfilled, and no refund or credit will be issued.

8. Liability and Damages

We handle bins with care, but:

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage.

  • We are not liable for lost or stolen bins unless due to verified negligence.

  • We are not responsible for incidental property damage (lawns, curbs, driveways, etc.) from normal operations.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed one month of service fees.

9. Independent Contractors

Bin Reddy may use independent contractors (“Bin Runners”). They are vetted but not employees, and Bin Reddy is not responsible for actions outside authorized duties.

10. Photos and Quality Assurance

We may capture time-stamped photos for proof of service and internal quality control. Photos will never include identifiable people or private areas and will not be shared publicly without consent.

11. Privacy

We collect only the information needed for scheduling and billing.
We never sell or share personal information without explicit consent.
See our Privacy Policy for details.

12. Service Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate service if:

  • Your account becomes delinquent,

  • Access is unsafe or obstructed, or

  • Staff experience harassment or repeated access issues.
You may cancel anytime per Section 5 (b).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bin Reddy, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims or losses arising from your use of the Service, except where caused by our gross negligence.

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by South Carolina law.
All disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of Richland County, SC.
You waive class-action participation and jury-trial rights.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will appear on our website with the effective date. Continued use of the Service means you accept the new Terms.
